Northern Rockies Fire Science Network

Thank you for your interest in the Northern Rockies Fire Science Network. We serve as a go-to resource for managers and scientists involved or interested in fire and fuels management in the Northern Rocky Mountains (Northern Idaho, Northeast Washington, Western Montana, Northwest Wyoming). The NRFSN is one of the 15 regional exchanges that make up the JFSP Fire Science Exchange Network, aimed at enhancing science-manager communication and accelerating the awareness, understanding, and use of wildland fire science in management. We work in partnership with federal, tribal, state, university, and local stakeholders to provide place-based information, communication, and events.
